The European Commission granted clearance, on 7 April, to the joint venture between SABMiller plc (UK) and Molson Coors Brewing Company (US). SABMiller and Molson Coors are both active in the worldwide production, distribution and sale of beer and other beverages. The joint venture will produce, distribute and sell beer in the US and Puerto Rico.
