You are regularly visiting Ukraine. What are your conclusions from your recent visits? Is the country finally on the right track following months of political turmoil?
Ukraine is a country where unpredictability and the lack of stability are part of day-to-day reality. As long as everything is within the framework of law, poor as it may be, there is no reason to complain. However, even people with a friendly approach vis-a-vis Ukraine have started to complain about wasting precious time. Right now, we have a government in Kiev, which says what we want to hear. It pledges its strong commitment to EU integration and EU-oriented reforms. But these declarations are not new in substance, compared to the previous government's pledges.
