Kirin Brewery Co., Tokyo, announced the launch of a new beer called The Old Kingdom Beer. The beer, which has no froth and contains 10 percent alcohol, was developed using a 4,400-year-old Egyptian recipe found on wall paintings. The drink is said to have a taste similar to white wine. Kim will present it at the Master Brewers Association of America conference in October.
