Barreto pledges action on bundling, 8(a) overhaul.(Hector Barreto)(United States Small Business Administration)(Brief Article)

The Bush administration is putting together an interagency task force to' attack unjustified contract bundling and to expand contracting opportunities for small businesses, SEA Administrator Hector Barreto said.
Barreto also said SEA is determined to create "a new 8(a)" program that is "modern...and streamlined."
He spoke and answered quesdons April 18 at a public meeting of the Federal OSDBU Directors Interagency Council in Washington.
He said President Bush is "passionate" about the small business agenda announced in March.
