Telefonica del Peru implements MIND CTI's billing for IP services. (VoIP).(Brief Article)

Telefonica del Peru has selected the MIND-iPhonEX billing and customer care solution for its IP services offering. The initial implementation will focus on prepaid and post-paid VoIP services, and shortly after that will expand to additional IP based services.

MIND-iPhonEX provides Telefonica del Peru with prepaid and post-paid VoIP billing along with the means to mediate, rate and bill additional IP services.

Telefonica del Peru is a strategic customer for MIND and the company believes that this win will deepen its penetration of the South American market. Telefonica del Peru is the principal global telecom operator in Peru. By the close of the third quarter 2001, it had 1,725 million phone lines in service.
