DSL aggregation hardware revenue to go up by 65 percent to touch $10.5 billion by 2009.(MARKET INTELLIGENCE)

According to Infonetics Research, hardware revenues of DSL aggregation across the world are expected to scale up by 65 percent during 2005-2009 to touch $10.5 billion. The number of its subscribers increased by 27 percent to reach 126 million during 2004-2005. It is expected to further go up by 96 percent to 245 million across the globe by 2009.
According to Jeff Heynen, directing analyst of Infonetics Research, the market for DSL aggregation grew at a fast pace during 2005 and, in order to offer video and high revenue-earning IPTV services to DSL users, companies increased their bandwidth.
