Argentina's Techtel doubles its revenues in 2003.(Argentina)(Brief Article)

The network service provider that focuses on corporate customers expects to close 2003 with US$33.6 million in revenues, doubling last year's results. The company controlled by Mexico's America Movil and Argentina's Techint Group expects US$50.5 million of revenues in 2004. This forecast does not include AT & T Latin America's Argentine business that is estimated at another US$33 million.

America Movil recently acquired from AT & T Corp. the regional network service provider with operations in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Argentina. Techtel offers fixed line, long distance, 0800, Internet and data services to 160,000 customers of all sizes.
