Early next month the giant Mexican operator will take control of AT & T Corp.'s former regional corporate service provider. The transition was expected to take place earlier but was delayed by approvals from regulators where AT & T LA operates, including Argentina. According to sources the company will operate in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Colombia under the Telmex Latin America brand.
