Telefonica Moviles to Maintain Dominance.(Market Intelligence)

Telefonica Moviles is now, and will continue be, the dominant wireless operator in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, according to In-Stat/MDR. The high-tech market research firm reports that the wireless arm of European wireline and wireless operator Telefonica has been able to spot an opportunity that none of the other major operators have been able to capitalize on, and, as a result, is the fifth-largest operator in the world as measured by number of subscribers.
