CTBC to launch commercial new-generation GSM network with Huawei Technologies.(CTBC Telecom S.A., global service for mobile communication)

CTBC, a traditional Brazilian telecom carrier, recently announced that the new-generation Soft-switch Global Service for Mobile Communication (GSM) network, constructed by Huawei Technologies, has been successfully launched into service. The network will provide high quality commercial GSM service for the state of Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Goias.
Based on the Soft-switch GSM network, CTBC will provide multiple services including voice, collect call, voicemail service (VMS), prepaid service (PPS), virtual private network (VPN), free phone (FPH), televoting, number portability (NP), and black & white list.
