Ritz Camera Centers Inc., Beltsville, Md., will partner with The History Channel's "Save Our History National Awards" program, promoting partnership between preservation organizations and schools or youth groups. Applicants submit project ideas focusing on community history; e.g. preserving a building, historic site or event.
Ritz Camera is assisting winners in photodocumenting their projects by providing them with Frequent Foto Cards, to help offset costs of processing, posters and brochures. Even those not receiving grants are encouraged to continue with preservation projects, and may apply for the cards.
