Citigroup Asset Management (CAM) has appointed Ann Roughead as global head of product development for their institutional and international business.

In her new role Roughead will be responsible for directing and implementing a strategy for CAM's global institutional platform and retail platform outside the US. One of her most important tasks, said CAM, will be to create institutional products based on the company's global research capabilities.

Roughead has more than 20 years' experience in the financial and legal arena and joins from JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, where she was head of European product strategy. She will be based in CAM's London headquarters at Canary Wharf.
