People on the move: Thomas Eggar appoints Jennings as consultant.

Thomas Eggar Trust Corporation has appointed Robert Jennings as a consultant.

Jennings has 30 years' experience of company pension schemes and has formerly worked for Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Sedgwick Noble Lowndes and Noble Lowndes as a senior consultant.

He has also worked in pensions management and trusteeship roles for both final salary and defined contribution schemes.

John Stapleton, head of Thomas Eggar's pensions and employee benefits department, said: "Robert is renowned for forming strong client relationships based on his independence of mind. Recruiting him will allow us to expand the pensions team at a time when pension schemes require full stewardship more than ever before."
