Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedNews: ABN Amro to be global custodian for Derbyshire.
Pensions Week, March, 2005
The GBP1.45bn Derbyshire County Council pension fund has appointed ABN Amro Mellon as its global custodian.
ABN Amro was selected when UBS Asset Management, the manager and custodian of Derbyshire's European equity portfolio, decided to withdraw in September 2004 from the custody business.
Derbyshire decided to consolidate all of its portfolios with a single global custodian.
The scheme has been using ABN Amro Mellon since 2001 to manage the custody of the fund's US portfolio.
