People on the move: Bestrustees adds Thompson to board of directors.

Bestrustees has appointed Peter Thompson to its board as a director.

Thompson, who joined Bestrustees in April 2005 (PW 11.04.05), is an actuary with nearly 30 years' experience in pensions.

Before becoming an independ-ent trustee, he spent 25 years with Mercer Human Resource Consulting, in both actuarial and investment consulting.

Thompson has also been involved with the National Association of Pension Funds, including two years as chairman from 2001 to 2003.
