Isabel Coles has been appointed as a principal to Mercer Human Resource Consulting.

Based in London, Coles will join Mercer's international retirement business to provide pensions and benefits advice to multi-national companies.

She will focus on mergers and acquisitions, accounting disclosures and pan- European pension scheme strategy and design.

Coles has 11 years' pension industry experience and joins from Barnett Waddingham, where she was a partner.
