SEI Investments has appointed Capita Hartshead for a pensions administration mandate to its defined contribution (DC) master trust product. Capita will manage all administrative aspects of the DC scheme, which pools members' assets, therefore spreading the legal, administrative and accounting costs across the trust.

JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services has won a custody mandate for Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), despite the buyout firm yet to announce any assets under management. JPMorgan signed a contract to provide custody, fund accounting and associated services, and so far this year has announced GBP50bn of new securities servicing mandates.
