Slater makes MD at Ortec Finance

Risk consultancy firm Ortec Finance has appointed Andrew Slater as managing director, to be based in its new London office.

Slater joins from SEI Investments, where he was director of institutional strategy in the firm's global institutional solutions arm. He has more than 15 years' experience in the UK pensions market.

Senior consultant Jitske van Londen has also transferred to the London office on secondment from Ortec's Rotterdam base.

Lucas Vermeulen, head of Ortec's London office, said: "Andrew's experience is perfectly aligned with our goal of expanding our offering to the UK market. His expertise and experience in the UK pension space will help us put our best foot forward."
