The Alternative Investment Management Association (Aima) has created a new steering committee dedicated to improving the engagement of the hedge fund industry with the institutional investor community.
The global industry association's Investor Steering Committee will look to offer institutional investors strategic and practical guidance on hedge fund activities and input on regulatory and political issues. It will meet for the first time in August, and quarterly thereafter.
Longer-term, the committee will essentially serve as a formal channel through which the investor community can address its needs and concerns to Aima and its members. Initial projects identified for the committee include offering input to the...
