Cazenove split gets adviser thumbs up.

Cazenove Capital Management's forthcoming demerger from JPMorgan Cazenove will create a more dynamic investment outfit, IFAs believe.

Mark Dampier, head of research at Hargreaves Lansdown, said: "Cazenove Capital Management will become much more boutique-like. Fund managers will be incentivised, so they will not move around so much.

"One thing I do not want is fund managers jumping ship, as Cazenove has a good team."

Adrian Shandley, managing director for Premier Wealth Management, agreed, stating: "The bigger the institution the more sterile and process-driven investment decisions can become. If the demerger does result in Cazenove becoming more like a boutique then it can only help the investor in the long run."
