F&C's AGBP325m Investors Capital trust is proposing a rollover that will create two classes of shares with equal rights to capital in the event of a wind-up.

The asset manager told the London Stock Exchange of its intentions to do so when the split capital trust winds up on 28 February.

Directors of the trust, managed by Rodger McNair, also outlined proposals offering income and zero dividend preference shareholders a choice of whether to roll over some or all of their investment into shares in a new Investors Capital trust, or realise some or all of their investment in cash.
