Credit Suisse has named Raphael Kassin as head of emerging markets fixed income, just days after he quit ABN Amro.

Mr Kassin resigned from his former employer where he was head of the Global Emerging Markets bond products with AGBP3.9bn under management, just two weeks ago, and announced he would be joining Credit Suisse last week.

Mr Kassin is said to be negotiating gardening leave, however he will join Credit Suisse no later than July, the group said.

Mr Kassin said: "Credit Suisse is a highly regarded international business. It continues to build its Fixed Income team and I am excited to be part of it."
