Byline: UK retail offering to get a boost with investment grade corporate bond fund launch

UBS has beefed up its UK retail offering with the launch of a AGBP67m UK investment grade corporate bond fund investing in UK and global securities.
The Corporate Bond UK Plus fund aims to beat its benchmark, the iBoxx Non-Gilt Index, on a total return basis.
It is a typical corporate bond portfolio with additional investment powers to use derivatives and long and short positions under Ucits III.
The group's UK retail business is still in its infancy, with the firm's most established fund, the AGBP129m UK Select fund, less than five years old.
