JPMorgan Asset Management has completely revamped the pricing structures for its entire UK Oeic range.
From 1 September, JPMAM will fix the administrative expenses on its 'A' shares, irrespective of the asset class, at 18 basis points per year.
Currently, these expenses often differ widely from fund to fund and from fund house to fund house. They are also set retrospectively and with significant variation.
According to Jasper Berens, head of UK sales for JPMAM, this is a clear move to set a benchmark for transparency and consistency in the industry.
