Mark Stocker has taken up the reins as partner in Lane Clark & Peacock's (LCP) London actuarial team.
Stocker had been at Mercer Human Resource Consulting since 1987, and became principal and head of professional affairs in 2005.
He also occupied an account manager role for a range of clients across pensions, investments and administration.
LCP managing director Tony Mason said: "We are delighted that Mark has joined Lane Clark & Peacock.
"He is well respected in the industry and brings more than 20 years' experience to his new role, including strong knowledge in the area of professional standards."
