The Personal Accounts Deli-very Authority has recruited a second industry heavyweight in the shape of former Trades Union Congress (TUC) president Jeannie Drake.

Drake has been appointed as a non-executive director, and joins Paul Myners who started work as chair designate in August.

She currently serves on the board of the Pension Protection Fund, the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Employment Appeals Tribunal, and was formerly a president of the TUC.

She is also a pension scheme trustee for O2 and Alliance & Leicester. Between 2002 and 2006, Drake served on the Pensions Commission.
