Put simply, this is the main reason why its share price has risen more than sixfold since the end of 2000, with sales more than doubling during the same period. Strong management and an effective business plan have combined well and, with further expansion expected, it's still an attractive investment.

Trading over Christmas often gives a few clues as to how the company is performing.
