Berkeley Scott looks to expand.

Investors Chronicle, November, 2004

Berkeley Scott, a specialist in recruitment for the leisure and hospitality sector, plans to join Aim before the end of this month. It has a network of 15 branch offices and, in the year to 30 September 2004, filled over 150,000 vacant positions, ranging from cleaners to chefs to hotel managers. Clients include Compass and Hilton.

High staff turnover provides a good market for Berkeley. And the hospitality sector now employs 1-in-10 of the UK workforce. Up to GBP3.5m is to be raised for a valuation in the region of GBP8.5m. The intention is to open new offices and make selective acquisitions. Evolution are brokers to the issue.

The float will increase credibility and current trading is also good. Investors should wait for further pricing details.
