27p - Software and computer services - Technology stocks are enjoying something of a revival at present. After a false start earlier in the year, the techMARK 100 index has risen by 21 per cent since its latest upward run began in early August. But that technology upturn seems to have passed one company by. Shares in NSB Retail Systems have underperformed the techMARK 100 by 18 per cent over the past three months, and are up just 4 per cent over the same period - even though NSB is arguably in better shape now than at any point in its near decade-long history.

Unfortunately, investors can't seem to shake off the memories of those events that wiped about 99 per cent from the group's value between early 2001 and the autumn of 2002. An expensive acquisition...
