Humphries of Regal buys ahead of closed period.

Bill Humphries, a non-executive director with Balkans-focused oil and gas producer Regal Petroleum, snapped up 100,000 shares at 365p ahead of the closed period due to start within the week. Mr Humphries' stake had previously been largely in the form of options. He has been a non-executive since Regal's flotation in 2001. Regal's share price has bounced around a bit in the last few months as its production schedule slipped and analysts were disappointed. But Mr Humphries' buy comes ahead of a planned update on Regal's drilling activities at its billion-barrel Kallirachi oil prospect.
