The restructuring of NSB's sales team in 2004 has continued to pay off in the shape of new customer signings in the fashion, clothing and speciality good sectors. The company has some heavyweight clients in its North American market, including JC Penney and Nike, but mainly targeted medium- to smaller-sized retailers.

As a result, there was a sharp rise in North American licence income. Similarly, in the UK, where BT acts as NSB's exclusive distributor, revenues doubled to GBP1.7m, helped by a number of clients wins, including Halfords, Thomas Pink, Oasis and C&A. This fed through to a big jump in profits.
