Reflecting the impact of its US sub-prime lender, Household, HSBC's provisions as a proportion of loans tend to be higher than for many UK rivals. The group's performance in south-east Asia is also worth a look, especially given competition from lenders such as Standard Chartered. Charles Stanley expects full-year EPS of 136.3
