Informa has made another bolt-on acquisition, buying New Jersey-based publisher Lawrence Erlbaum Associates (LEA) for GBP38m. LEA publishes more than 100 academic journals and 200 new books a year, and is well known in the behavioural science and education fields. The company is also generating strong organic growth, and sales grew at 11 per cent in the last financial year.
Informa continues to make good bolt-on acquisitions, and all of its businesses are performing well. So, at 496p, the shares remain good value.
