Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedHitachi capital takes a tumble.
Investors Chronicle, January, 2007
Hitachi Capital's solid progress in focusing on niche sectors within the financing market has been marred by the failure of Transrent, a key customer in its business finance division. As a result of this, and the challenging conditions facing the division, a one-off provision of GBP4m will be made in the fourth quarter.
The good news is that management hopes to maintain the dividend. At 244p, the shares are fairly priced.
