Industry: Email Alert RSS FeediSoft seeks ideal suitor.
Investors Chronicle, February, 2007
Beleaguered IT services group iSoft has announced that Australian healthcare software group IBA Health has joined the list of potential suitors, and is seeking bank funding ahead of a possible all-share offer. The news buoyed iSoft shares, after reports that US group McKesson had pulled out of talks prompted the stock to drop 13 per cent.
iSoft still has pressing funding issues, which gives it little leverage in negotiating with suitors. A highly risky bet, so our sell advice stands at 48p.
