Lithium Technology Corporation (LTC) recently announced that its president and chief operating officer Franz Kruger has been selected to serve as the company's new CEO. Kruger succeeds outgoing CEO David Cade, who will continue to serve as the company's board chairman.
According to LTC, Kruger worked for European battery company Varta for 18 years before becoming CEO of LTC's German subsidiary GAIA Akkumulatorenwerke GmbH in 2001.
"I look forward to continuing to build LTC and GAIA into a unique and very advanced lithium-ion battery company with operational facilities and sales offices in both the USA and Europe," said Kruger.
