TN Labor Department Funds Modine Worker Training Program.(Tennessee)(Brief Article)

Racine, WI-based thermal management components specialist Modine Manufacturing Company recently announced it has received a $45,000 grant from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development for a new "incumbent worker training program."

"The Incumbent Worker Training Program provides grant funding for customized training for existing for-profit businesses," said Tennessee Department of Labor commissioner James Neeley. "Through this customer-driven program, Tennessee is able to effectively retain and keep businesses competitive through the upgrading of skills training for existing full-time employees."
