Eagle Group to improve metalcasting, CNC plants

Two divisions of the Eagle Group, Muskegon, Mich.,--Eagle Alloy Inc. and Eagle CNC Technologies Inc.--will be making significant improvements thanks to a 12-year tax abatement from the Egelston Township (Mich.) Board.
The board-approved abatements will go toward $2.57 million in new and reconditioned equipment as well as $350,000 for Eagle Alloy's metalcasting facility improvements. Further, Eagle CNC was granted an abatement for $985,500 worth of equipment and $24,500 for improvements on its plant.
The overall projects are expected to take two years to complete.
