The former chief operating officer at Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines took over for Matthew Szulik, 51, who will remain as chairman.... Cary-based Bandwidth.com, which sells phone and data services, hired Matthew Petzold, 42, as chief financial officer....
Chris Viehbacher, 47, president of U.S. pharmaceuticals for London-based GlaxoSmithKline and the drug maker's highest-ranking executive at its U.S. headquarters in Research Triangle Park, was appointed to its board of directors.... Peter Hermann, 57, was hired as chief executive of the North Carolina Technology Association. He had been president of Hermann Associates, a Kansas City consulting...
