A vaginal cleansing swab was patented. It comprises an applicator shaft with a first and second: end and a moisture absorbent end piece positioned over the first end of the shaft. The moisture absorbent end piece has a dome-shaped tip and more than one projecting disc-like portion. The diameter of the projecting disc-like portions increase in size toward the dome-shaped tip. A first projecting disc-like portion is positioned closest to the moisture absorbent end piece with a diameter larger than the dome shaped end piece. Separation areas are located between the projecting disc-like portions.
