Pittsburgh-based Algor, Inc., has announced a donation of more than $370,000 to the John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation, part of the John A. Swanson Institute for Technical Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh School of Enginering. The grant includes Algor's design, analysis, and multiphysics simulation software and support services.

The software is designed to enable engineers to virtually test and predict real-world behavior of new and existing product designs.
