> Headquartered in Paris, specialty chemicals company Rhodia has announced that, following approval by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), it has completed its acquisition of Glen-Allen, Va.-based Albright & Wilson. The acquired company--which operates internationally in the areas of phosphates, surfactants and phosphorus derivatives, and acrylics--will be integrated into Rhodia's Consumer Specialties Division.
