Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Tokyo, Japan, has begun supplying its proprietary tire deflation warning system software to the automotive equipment supplier Robert Bosch. The two companies signed a license agreement which allows Robert Bosch to install the software in its antilock brake and electronic stability control systems.
Robert Bosch will utilize the software to supply its systems for use in the BMW 5, 6 and X3 series.
