RPC Bebo Nederland in Goor are producing multi-layer thermoformed tubs in clear polypropylene for Dole Packaged Foods' top selling Fruit Bowl brand.
The custom-moulded design features a layer of EVOH between the polypropylene. This provides an effective barrier to oxygen ingress and flavour loss to ensure a long, stable shelf life. The polypropylene offers high temperature resistance for retort and hot fill applications.
The 80mm diameter tubs offer a wide opening for easy access to the product. A high barrier film lid creates an effective seal to maintain product freshness prior to opening, and the film is also easy to peel back for consumer convenience.
