Atos Origin, a global consultancy, technology and service company, have won an [pounds sterling]8m. contract with United Biscuits, makers of McVities' and KP brands in the UK, to manage the company's UK SAP Competence Centre. The five-year outsourcing deal sees 37 United Biscuits' personnel transferring full-time to Atos Origin in a major restructure of their SAP function.
Atos Origin's 400-strong UK SAP practice will provide critical business support and development at United Biscuits's SAP Competence Centre, which oversees key business processes including finance, materials management and sales and distribution.
