Designers and manufacturers of wireless products and solutions for supply-chain management and logistics, LXE, recently announced the availability of their new VX4 rugged vehicle-mounted computer.

The VX4 is designed specifically for use on forklifts, trucks and other types of industrial vehicles. It supports Windows 98 and 2000, an Intel [R] Pentium 266MHz MMX processor, a 10.4" colour SVGA display with touch screen interface, and a 10GB internal hard drive that meets vibration testing based on MIL STD 810D.

The VX4 can also be used as a fixed-station computer that can be wall-mounted for cross docking applications.
