APV, a unit of Invensys plc and supplier of process solutions, recently completed the installation of a new concentrated orange juice plant for Corol, Cooperate Agropecuaria de Rolandia, located in the south of Brazil. The concentrated juice factory is built to squeeze 4.5 million boxes of oranges, roughly eight thousand tonnes of juice per year. APV and the Invensys group's involvement in the greenfield project involved providing both financial support and state-of-the-art design and development. The plant operates with low electrical consumption based on high efficiency equipment such as APV pumps, Eurotherm and motors.
