To underscore its commitment to the development of a worldwide capability, Thomas Industries Inc. (Tel: 01622 716816) has appointed Noel West Managing Director of worldwide service. He will be reporting directly to Tim Brown, president and CEO of Thomas Industries.
Previously managing director of Rietschle (UK) Ltd, which he founded in 1979, Noel will be responsible for a five-year programme to develop the existing network of 25 Rietschle Thomas service centres.
Based at New Hythe in Kent, Noel plans initially to focus on maintenance-sensitive markets, with the long term intention of looking at best practice in each area of the service operation worldwide.
