Following the announcement of re-organisation within Invensys, APV Baker is now a standalone company within the Invensys Development Division, and new financial partners or new owners are being sought for APV Baker. The management of APV Baker regard this as a positive development.
The change will not affect day-to-day operations, and customers will experience business as usual. President David Marshall (pictured) believes the change will create a more entrepreneurial scope for management and will give APV Baker better access to the funds needed to develop the business.
Invensys has chosen to operate with one core division. The Production Management Division focuses on productivity solutions for continuous process manufacturing.
