As a result of an original idea from Preserved Products at Carrefour France, a leading French retail chain has launched one of the first genuine alternative packaging formats to the tin can for processed vegetables. The breakthrough has been achieved thanks to an innovative multi-layer polypropylene pack from RPC Bebo UK Corby.

Manufactured by Gelagri Bretagne, the new Conserves Pratiques range of vegetables has an ambient shelf life of up to two years, with the added consumer benefit of individually separable compartments that can be easily and quickly reheated in the microwave.
